In the recent issue of British Cosmopolitan magazine, Angelina Jolie spoke about how Brad Pitt copes with being a father to so many children. She revealed, “Brad is a great dad. It means a lot to me that I have him in my life and be there for our kids. I was prepared to raise them without a father, although I would have preferred to have a man at my side.” Guess she can now thank the producers of Mr. and Mrs. Smith eh?? Hehe!

Angelina Jolie shared further, “That’s one thing I never expected when I got involved with Brad - you can’t know if a man will be a good dad without seeing him in that role. Brad is so good with my first adopted son Maddox and they have bonded in such a beautiful way that it almost makes me cry - and I never cry!” Oh wow.. Brad Pitt certainly hit Angelina Jolie in the way she never expected — not by being a good lover but being a great father! Nice one Brad!

According to the mum of six, when she first read the drama’s script, she said “this is absolutely great, and I never want to do it.” LOL! Angelina Jolie can be quite weird sometimes eh?? But the reason she’s not doing the movie isn’t coz she’s insecure that she won’t be able to pull off her role. Her reason is, ummm, kinda maternal. Angelina Jolie shared, “I don’t want to put my consciousness on children being kidnapped. But I couldn’t forget about her. I found myself telling Brad and friends of mine the story.”

According to reports, “The Changeling” arrived at when Angelina Jolie’s mother, Marcheline Bertrand, died of ovarian cancer at 56. The actress related, “My mom, she was a very, very soft woman. It was hard for her to yell, or even curse. But when it came to fighting for her kids, she found a strength she didn’t always know she had. And there’s a part of Christine [her character in the movie] that I connected to her. I kept pictures of my mom in the little purses [that Christine carries in the movie].”

..but will wait for awhile before adopting / giving birth to another child — and I say, smart move! Hehe! Angelina Jolie recently revealed in an interview that she and Brad Pitt aren’t planning to stop at six children. The pretty actress happily related, “Oh, no.. I mean, I know we seem crazy, just bringing them in one after the other, but we do plan. We make sure one is absorbed completely into the family before we add another.”

Angelina Jolie further shared, “There are moments when we look at everyone around the dinner table, and it’s just crazy, but our family is the greatest thing we’ve done in our lives.” I say amen to that! Because of Brangelina, orphans are getting adopted left and right — hopefully to have better lives. Angelina Jolie also shared her worries that Maddox, who is now old enough to use the Internet, will “look up my name and see some kind of sexy pictures or read a story about himself that isn’t true. There’s a lot we’re going to have to explain to them about how public their family is.”

Another good deed from our fave Hollywood actress! ^_^ According to reports, Angelina Jolie with Microsoft, law firms and corporate law departments are teaming up to create a legal system for children of parents involved in U.S. immigration proceedings. The Kids in Need of Defense (KIND) will provide pro bono legal defense for unaccompanied children, and Microsoft’s general counsel, in a statement:

“Through our support of KIND, we hope to inspire the participation of many more representatives of our legal community to offer these children the fundamental protection they need. Every lawyer has a professional responsibility to provide pro bono legal services to those unable to pay.”

Angelina Jolie has said that the U.S. provides no lawyers for children of parents involved in immigration court proceedings. She shared, “These children often have nothing; no money, no support and no family, yet they come to America seeking its promises of a better life. But many end up becoming lost, traumatized, and ultimately forgotten.” So far, KIND has received more than $2 million in donations, and more than 25 law firms and corporate law departments have committed to contributing more than 13,000 pro bono hours.
