Unfortunately, Angelina Jolie wasn’t around. That, despite the rumors that she’s been furiously slimming down to appear alongside Brad Pitt on the red carpet of the Venice Film Festival (he’s promoting Burn After Reading with George Clooney). The father of six, along with Maddox (sporting a blue mohawk) and Pax-Thien, enjoyed the sights of Venice along its waterways. Shiloh and Zahara were nowhere to be found, presumably they were with mom Angelina Jolie back in France along with the twins Knox Leon and Viviene Marcheline.

At the red carpet of the Venice Film Festival, when asked if he and Angie would be stopping at six children, Brad Pitt said: “I’ll have two more by next year.” YIKES! Is this for real?? Meanwhile, George Clooney was asked if spending time with the Brad Pitt - Angelina Jolie clan had convinced him it was time to settle down and become a father. The actor joked that the question was well-timed because he would be “getting married and having children today.” LOL! Brad Pitt added: “Until then, I will be sharing mine with him.”

YIKES!! Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt may have scored the cutest twins on planet Earth (with a $14 million price tag at that!) but if our fave actress’ health is suffering coz of them.. I don’t wanna think about it! This isn’t good news at all! =( Source say that Angelina Jolie hasn’t been getting enough sleep and isn’t eating enough since welcoming twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, her fifth and sixth children with partner Brad Pitt. Yup, having newborn twins plus four more other kids definitely puts your health in the dumps!

An insider revealed, “She’s in tears up to three times a day and so tired that Brad’s found her collapsed asleep in the bath twins. Angelina Jolie has been working around the clock, breast-feeding the babies and trying to get them to sleep. But as soon as one of them drops off, the other wakes up for another feed.” The source further adds, “She’s also not eating very much right now and blames that on being busy. The doctor says that she needs more calories to gain strength and ensure that her breast milk is healthy.” I hope Angie does that!

We all know that Angelina Jolie can kick a lot of ass. In case anyone’s unsure of her ability to carry an action film, I submit Tomb Raider, Gone in 60 Seconds, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Wanted — need I say more?

Yet it’s notable that she may be taking on yet another rough-and-tumble action flick. Variety reports that the stunning actress is close to a deal with Columbia Pictures to play a role previously intended for Tom Cruise in the film Edwin A. Salt. According to Variety, her character is “a CIA officer who’s accused by a defector of being a Russian sleeper spy and must elude capture long enough to establish her innocence.” (Does this mean Angie will sport a hot Russian accent at some point?) There’s nothing about that role that sounds intrinsically male to me, but we all know how the movies work, and it’s quite notable that a studio has opted to go with a female actor to play a role originally written with a man in mind.

And according to reports, Angelina Jolie has been asking adult movie star Tera Patrick for advice on playing the catty feline nemesis. If you’re surprised why the 33-year old actress is asking a porn star for acting tips, it’s because she is said to be good friends with the busty brunette. Angelina Jolie apparently believes Tera Patrick can offer her insights in portraying Catwoman.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: “Tera and Angelina are friends and keep in touch via email. They have a girl-talk thing going. After seeing reports that she’ll land the lead role, Angelina Jolie asked Tera what she thought. Tera had such insights into the role that Angelina cracked, ‘You should do it’.” LOL! Aside from Edwin A. Salt and Catwoman, Angie is also rumored to have been approached to act in The Thomas Crown Affair 2 alongside Pierce Brosnan - a role for which movie bosses want her to put on weight.
