The actress’ trademark cat’s-eye liner was lined a smidge further than usual with a touch underneath the lower lash line, “like a sideways V,” Mary says. The heavier eye makeup made a statement, but didn’t look overdone as it was balanced out by those HUGE emerald earrings (105 carats in all!). Angelina Jolie’s lips were simply glossed, and her cheeks dusted with a trace of powder blush. Mary Burton says, “I rarely ever put blush or bronzer on her skin. Anything else is too much for her.” LESS IS MORE, right Angie??

According to the tabloids, yes — and it will for the upcoming and much-anticipated Academy Awards Night. A source for OK! Magazine revealed that Angelina Jolie wasn’t just looking for a home in New York but is also on the hunt for the perfect “show-stopping’ Piece to wear to the Oscars. The mum of six has been nominated for a Best Actress Oscar for her role as the mother of a kidnapped boy in “Changeling” at the said awards show alongside a Best Actor nomination for her partner, Brad Pitt.

The tipster tells OK! that Angelina Jolie has “been driving all of the high-end jewelers of New York crazy… looking for the impossible - a drop dead gorgeous $20 million diamond necklace to wear to the Oscars.” So what caused her current fixation on an uber-expensive piece of jewelry? The source rats, “Angelina Jolie really wants (the necklace) to be a show-stopper and is making sure that she is the one everyone has their eyes on this Sunday - and not Jennifer Aniston.”

Years before, the tattooed mother of six is best known for her bad-girl attitude. But these days, Angelina Jolie has settled down to doing charity work and raising her brood with Brad Pitt. Of course she still does movies =) Recently, she spoke about balancing her movie star status and motherhood. Angelina Jolie said she feels fortunate that she can spend quality time with her children while also enjoying a successful career:

“I’ve been lucky to have a great career and a lot of success. But I wake up every day, just the happiest mommy. I’m so lucky, and I don’t want to miss school lunches and things like that.”

Angelina Jolie also revealed to ABC’s “Nightline” how she was initially reluctant to take on her role in ‘Changeling’ because just reading the script about a woman whose son is kidnapped gave her insomina as she pondered whether something similar could happen to one of her six children. She says, “Just the thought of anything happening to my kids is something I didn’t want to think about. But I couldn’t forget her and that she’s this real person, she’s this real woman that went through this.”

And by that, she meant HER movies! Angelina Jolie recently admitted that she still hasn’t seen all of the films she’s made in her career. She has made around 40 films to date, and insists her work takes a backseat to her roles as a mother to six kids and partner to Brad Pitt. In an interview on “Good Morning America” last Tuesday, Angelina Jolie shared:

“A film or two I haven’t seen. Most of them I have seen once. I like the process of doing them more than watching them. I don’t really like to watch movies.”

The 33-year old actress added that there’s an exception: “I love to watch Brad’s movies. … I say kids first, woman to Brad and then my work internationally; and try to educate myself and learn about the world and do some good things while I’m alive. So what is that (ranking)? Fourth?” SWEET! Angelina Jolie made her big screen debut as a child alongside her father, Jon Voight, in the 1982 film “Lookin’ to Get Out.”
