Now that’s a pair even Hollywood can’t dream off of having, LOL! Paris Hilton was recently interviewed of what she’s looking for in a bestfriend (”Someone I can trust. And they have to be compassionate, caring and fun.”) and Angelina Jolie’s name popped out when the heiress was asked who is her dream best friend. Paris Hilton said,

I love Angelina Jolie. She’s strong but gorgeous and uses her fame for good to make a big difference in the world. That’s a great quality. I’d have a lot in common with her.

And the good thing about Paris is that she doesn’t quarrel with her best friends. The blonde star revealed, “I hate arguments and confrontation. In LA there are always false rumours going around so sometimes you do have to sort out problems with friends. But I always try to talk about things and make it better.” That would certainly put out Angelina Jolie — she loves arguments and debates!

You may laugh while reading the title but that’s the buzz these days! After all, who knows about adoption more than Angelina Jolie? She and Brad Pitt has 3 adopted kids for pete’s sake! And from different countries at that. If that doesn’t make Brangelina a sort of an expert on adopting, shoot me =p Anyway the rumor that the mom of six is starting an adoption center stemmed from the HBO party after the Golden Globe Awards last week.

Apparently Angelina Jolie was overheard chatting with Drew Barrymore about kids. Drew was heard to say: “My biological clock is ticking so loud it sounds like a drum. I want kids so bad, but with no husband prospects around, I am thinking of adopting.” Angelina Jolie was then seen giving Drew Barrymore her phone number and telling her she’d be happy to help if she does decide to adopt. Of course, gossipers are one step ahead and trumpeted the adoption center rumor!

Angelina Jolie’s real-life hunk of a husband was called ugly by some woman at the HBO’s party after the Golden Globes. Hilarious huh?? I mean Brad Pitt has umpteen best looking man in the world titles to his name, and yet he was still dissed! Angelina Jolie better find a handsomer man, hahaha! According to a witness, “Brad was enjoying a cocktail and chatting with friends at party when this woman, who was clearly drunk, approached him. She went on and on about how the aging make-up in The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button made him look ugly as a dog’.”

While this was happening, Angelina Jolie was chatting up with other stars in the party. I wonder how she’d react to the woman if she had been with Brad when this happened, hehe! Anyway, the witness shares further, “Brad listened politely and explained that the make-up was essential to telling the story properly. The woman finally piped down for a moment, then looked closely at Brad’s face. She then said, And you should definitely shave that goatee because it looks just horrible’, before marching off. Brad’s buddies cracked up laughing.” LOL!

According to recent reports, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are up for major acting awards at the British equivalent of the Oscars: the Orange British Academy Film Awards. Like their Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations, the mother of six has been nominated as best leading actress for her role in director Clint Eastwood’s The Changeling, while her partner has a nod for leading actor in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. His film is also up for best picture.

And surprisingly, Angelina Jolie’s baby daddy is a double-nominee at the BAFTAs! Brad Pitt also in the running as best supporting actor in the Coen Brothers’ Burn After Reading. Double Globe winner Kate Winslet is also competing against herself at the BAFTAs, with two nominations for best actress – in Revolutionary Road and The Reader. Will she repeat her double win in the BAFTAs and forget Angelina Jolie in her acceptance speech again?? Only time will tell, hehe! Winners will be announced at London’s Royal Opera House February 8.
